Jennifer was born in San Francisco and raised in the City of Pleasant Hill, California. Her passion for Homes started when she was young. She would dream of owning her very own home and draw floor plans imagining what the perfect home would look like. Those were the joys of her childhood days! Mike was born in Minnesota and moved to Walnut Creek, California right after middle school.
Jennifer started her real estate career in 2000 opening a mobile Notary signing business called About Signatures. She completed loan packages and Notarized documents for title companies for several years. In 2004 She started working for Prudential California Realty as an Escrow Coordinator. She coordinated for over seventy agents overseeing their files and guiding them threw the necessary paperwork for each transaction. With time and experience working thousands of deals, she discovered her true love in this business was problem solving and utilizing her negotiation skills with every sale! Another favorite part of her job is helping people fulfill their dreams of owning a home to raise their families in. “To me, there is no greater joy than handing someone the keys to their new home.”
Jennifer met husband Mike in 2010 who also shared her passion and love for real estate. They decided to merge their business and became The Nelson Family Real Estate Team. In 2012 they were married. January of 2014 they had their first child, Austin “He is our little Realtor in training”. In December of 2014 Prudential California Realty became Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties. We decided to partner with the premier choice for those seeking the highest quality, support and customer service. Berkshire Hathaway is proud of the values with which it conducts business. It has and will continue to uphold the highest levels of business ethics and personal integrity in all transactions and interactions. Also in 2014 they had a setback, in life and in business, when Jennifer was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Still, she worked through Chemo and radiation while raising a toddler with Mike. In 2018 they were surprisingly blessed with their second son Aiden. In 2020 their business expanded to Probate and Trust Sales when Jennifer’s father passed away with no trust. She became the administrator of her fathers probate and worked with Attorneys to settle the estate. She also started working together with Fiduciaries to help liquidate and acquire real estate assets. Currently they just expanded to Commercial Residential sales. We can now say that Jennifer is Cancer free! Mike and Jennifer live in Benicia with their beautiful sons Austin & Aiden and furry dog daughter named Lady. When they are not showing property, meeting with clients, or on the phone, you can find them at the beach, in Napa, or the park enjoying every minute life has to offer.

Drysdale Community Foundation is funded by donations from individual agents. Our agents contribute a part of their commission as an expression of their personal commitment to the communities in which they live and serve. Grant recipients are nominated by our agents and selected by the dedicated Foundation Grant Committee. Worthy charity organizations that serve our local communities by providing food and/or housing, both long-term and temporary are eligible to participate. Nominations are accepted through the end of the calendar year and winners are announced during the real estate awards season in February and March of the following year.
Each year, those values shine through more than ever on our company-wide Community Service Day. On the 3rd Friday of September our offices close their doors and our Drysdales go out to connect with and give back to the community. In the past, we have teamed up with local food banks, homes dedicated to caring for abused children, Veteran support organizations, and various other causes. Our projects have included building houses, food drives, blood drives, volunteering at senior centers, aiding the handicapped, assisting donation centers, cleaning charity locations, and so much more!
